Terms of Service

Wrightwood residential 8 Gig fiber from Ultimate Internet Access, Inc. (“UIA”). The signed agreement provided before installation is the contract.

Service

Residential fiber internet at the service address, up to 8 Gbps download and 8 Gbps upload on a wired test. Wi-Fi and customer devices may be slower. Data included with the monthly price is unlimited. Typical speeds and latency are on the Broadband Facts label.

Term

Two years from the date the customer signs. At the end of the term, service renews on a month-to-month term until cancelled.

Charges

The monthly price is on the Broadband Facts label and in the signed agreement. It is not an introductory rate. Bills are sent by email and paid in advance. Taxes and government fees are passed through. Paper billing has a $4.00 environmental fee. No refund is given for a partial billing cycle.

Installation and equipment

Installation is free. Wi-Fi routers are owned by UIA and must be returned when service ends. If not returned, the charge is $360 plus tax each. Customer equipment and inside wiring are the customer’s responsibility.

Moving and cancellation

If service is cancelled before the two-year term ends, the early termination fee is 50% of the remaining contract. A move inside the service area requires a new agreement and installation. The early termination fee is waived if the customer sells the house or moves outside the UIA service area.

Use

Service is for the household at the service address, not for commercial use or resale. You may not share it outside the residence, run an open Wi-Fi network, or use it for unlawful activity. UIA may suspend service for a violation. Suspension does not waive charges due under the agreement.

Network management and privacy

UIA does not block lawful content, throttle lawful traffic based on application or source, or accept paid prioritization. Network management and the privacy policy are linked from the Broadband Facts label.

Limits

Service can be interrupted by outages, maintenance, power loss, or events outside UIA’s control. Service and equipment are provided as is. UIA is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost data, arising from use or outage of the service. The signed agreement controls if it differs from this page.
